2005 leaking when it rains

I bought a 2005 limited about a week ago, everything runs great and works in it, but today i got in it after it hard been raining all night there was water dripping off both the handlesto help you get in on the drivers side and passanger side. It has a moonroof not sure if there is a drain thats plugged up somewhere or what, any help would be amazing

there is a drain hole that tend to get clogged That problem has been reported a few times

Just pulled my 04 Expedition headliner today to investigate. My passenger side rear drain tube was 100% clogged. Working on getting that cleared up. So far compressed air from a can has not worked. Trying a compressor tomorrow.

I have used a string trimer line and pushed it down the tube

I have ran the line down as far as I can get it, (tried twisting, moving the drain line while feeding) it is hitting something solid and not going through.

Today I am trying to identify where on the outside of the vehicle it exits. Looks like under the running board.

according to the service manual for both the 04 and 05 there should be 4 drain holes Sad to say but the manual doesn't show any pics or mention where they exit

I have run the water down the other working drain holes and unfortunately, no definitive exit point. I see a generalized area that is wet.

I will post some pics later tonight after I get this wrapped up.

Not sure if this will help but for my 05 Escape it shows an exit point at the A and B pillars.
The Escape only has two drains

I'm looking for the front exit points on my 04 Expy since it seems they are blocked further down than I can get with the trimmer string trick. Thinking it might be better to have a go at it from the other end.
Also, where are the rear drainage hole's?

Was not able to find the front or rear. Even went to the dealership yesterday after work. The guy showed me a general area to look but no luck for me. He told me the lines were surrounded by foam that held the line in place.

Just fought a clogged rear drain line for 2 days. What worked for me was to spray some WD40 and use an air compressor and let it blow it down the tube. Let it sit for a little bit. Then later, I filled the drain tube with water, then used the compressor to blow it out. Took several times, but it worked and the line is completely clear now.

Thanks, I'll try the WD-40 trick. But should find the exit points to remove the little valve at the end that seems to be the real culprit.

OK, sounded like a long shot but the WD-40 worked. Did all 4 lines and then using a cheap fluid transfer pump from Harbor Freight, about $4 and flushed the lines. One was a bit of a bear so I hooked it up to suck (instead of blow) then yuck, the crap than I pulled out, then flipped and flushed it. I hooked the other end of the pump to a gallon jug and flushed each wit over 3 quarts for each line. doing it alone I was not able to see the exit points but alas it seems good.
I did however screw up the rear coat hook, could not figure out how they come off, minor issue for another time.
