Hello everyone....My check engine light come on at 244,968 miles. My mechanic said it was a bad fuel sensor. Not sure exactly which one. He went on to say I need to replace the fuel transducer lines which are only available from Ford due to a redesign. I was quoted $500+ for parts and $300+ for labor. I decided to not get it fixed thinking it's time to get a new vehicle. After two weeks of driving 100+miles locally with the light on, today it just went off. I was running errands and stopped and started the truck several times, but it did not come back on. Any thoughts? Crossing my fingers to get 15-20,000 more miles before calling it quits barring any other significant repairs.
