2006 Ford Expedition Roof Rails

Hello all. I am running into an issue with my 06 Expedition. The factory roof rail seals are all worn and cracked. A couple of years ago, I had the roof repainted but the body shop warned me that these seals are worn a bit. Ford no longer sells them and was wondering if anyone has had any success with an after market solution. I have rust again on the roof and the body shop advises that water is penetrating under these cracked seals from the roof rails. They are suggesting that I remove the rails completely and plug up the holes. I would rather not do that as I do use the rails when we go camping. I have to assume someone here has experienced this issue. Any help/assistance/advice will be greatly appreciated.
