I recently bought an 06 Expy with AM/FM/CD/MP3/SAT and the overhead DVD player.

Worked fine except for the CD player clicking a lot on startup then CD ERROR.

I took the radio apart and thought I got the mechanism free, as the lubricant was nonexistent.

I reassembled the unit and it wouldnt power up.
Then little by little, bits of it started working, until everything started working (Except the changer, of course).

However, that was short lived. Soon, it was back to a blink here, blink there, flashing radio station display, then fully functional with no sound.
(Except CD Changer, of course)

The unit was getting pretty hot at the large heat sink on the left side. It was still blinking intermittently and randomly after the keys were out of the truck and the doors were locked.

I was worried about it overheating so I removed it again, figuring that it's toast.

The only thing that could possibly have gone wrong is the ribbon cable between the CD Changer and the Mainboard, but I inspected it closely and it seemed fine.

Regardless, It looks like Im in the market for a replacement.
I want the DVD to work and the wireless headphones to work with it.

Im looking to buy a replacement OEM unit, but there are so many differences.

Mine is # 6L1T-18C815-AB. Ive seen many similar ones on the net with BC and BB as well as 5L1T units. What are the differences and what is compatible as a replacement for my current one?
