The trans on my explorer has crapped out and it has 200k miles and a trans cost up to $5k. Plus my mechanic says it may need timing chains soon because the engine it has is notorious for timing chain failure. Anyway i found an 08 EB with 130k miles ...it has had recent timing chain and or cam phaser repair work, new spark plugs And has new tires. Is $6000 a reasonable offer?
