2008 steering wheel will not lock

Really odd issues with my expedition. The steering wheel will not lock. Also the key does not come out of the ignition cylinder without using a lot of force. Further it does not seem that I can turn the key backwards to the accessory position. Truck starts fine and the shifter works as it should. I can get the key in ignition beep to sound with the key out of the ignition if I push on the ignition cylinder.


Best guess is the ignition cylinder is worn out.
