I searched through the Owner's Manual of my 2010 Expedition and couldn't find anything about a Cabin Filter.

The Expedition has 18k miles on it so I thought I should replace it.

Can anyone tell me where the Cabin Filter is located?

Thanks!

i would be curious on this as well. I bought my 2007 expy used and there is a faint smell of cig smoke left in it. I'm wondering if the cabin filter needs to be replaced. is it something you access from inside the cabin or is it accessed from the engine bay?

Since this says there is no cabin air filter I would asume this applies to all of the years that share this body style. I have looked through this 2009 expedition/navigator ford workshop manual and there is no mention of a cabin air filter. The reason that people believe that there may be a cabin air filter is because it is in the maintence manual that is just a general booklet included with almost every Ford SUV/Truck. The only 2009 production model of SUV/Truck that has a cabin air filter in 2009 is the Ford Escape.

Most odors are going to be inside of the system or odors in the car. There are remidies for this but are more complicated than just changing a filter. I wish it was easier because I have an odor in my expedition also.

I hope this helps everyone.

A/C Evaporator Flush Service

There is no cabin air filter in the 2010 Expedition. If you're getting a musty smell, have the A/C evaporator flushed. Mold and mildew can build up in there. Once a year in a hot climate. Lots of videos out there about spraying Lysol in the air intakes. I've tried it and I believe it makes a difference, but it's only a temporary fix. Get it flushed.
