I need to replace the rear wiper blade on my 2010 Expedition.

I removed the rear wiper and couldn't figure out how to install the new blade since the old one is attached to a blcak trim piece.

Can someone please help me and explain how to replace the rear window wiper blade? Do I have to buy the entire trim piece with a new wiper blade?

Thanks!

it should just come right off by pressing on the things on top or you may have to turn the blade in order to see were to lift to take it off

Had to buy the blade & trim as one assembly.

I had to buy the blade and trim piece as an assembly from Ford. I could find no after-market blades with this same trim piece. Ford PN is 9L1Z-17528-B, They are one piece, the trim piece has the blade holder hooks molded right into it.

How much did you pay for the blade assembly?

Wake up old thread! I just replaced my 2012 rear wiper blade with an inexpensive Walmart blade; https://www.walmart.com/ip/17-Autodrive-Wiper-Blade/340142188

All I had to do was unsnap and remove the plastic center fitting from the new blade, and snap new wiper center pin onto the original wiper arm, like the original wiper. It may look a little odd compared to the original 'custom' blade, but I don't care.

This video shows how to remove old blade; https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/...ndshield_wiper_blade_rear/replace_wiper_blade
