Does anyone have any ideas where I can buy a new Liftgate Pinch Strip? Am I going to have to get a used one from a salvage yard?

No I haven't. I figured it would be high, but I may have to if there are no other sources.

Thats a super common $25 to $30 switch. Used on Focus, Fiesta, Explorer, Flex, Edge, Fusion, Taurus, etc. I believe it dates back to late 1990s. Its the same button used under the chrome trim that you use to pop the glass.

Airtex / Wells part number 1S3680. DORMAN part number 901209. Standard DS-1502. Many, many Ford part numbers such as 1L2Z14018AC and 1L2Z14018AA.

Sorry, you are misinterpeting what I am saying, Flexpedition. Not the push button switch, but the strips that run along the upper insides of the liftgate. I removed the word "switch" from the OP.

Well, the Ford dealer wants $160 for it. So it will get a used one or get disabled.
