Hello,
I just purchased a slightly used Expedition and wouldn't you know it....no keyless code. Does anyone know where I could possibly find the code for a 2012?

thank you so much in advance.

Somebody else with a 3rd gen may chime in but on my 2nd gen it was on a sticker on a box up under the dash on the passenger side. On what would be the inside of the fender.

You might check the aux fuse panel on the passenger rt. side kick panel. Just remove kick panel and see if there's a sticker with code on fuse box cover. If not, you may have to get it from dealer for ~$50.

So dumb question. Did you look in the owners manuals for a business card sized piece of paper with the code on it?

From what I have experienced, I had the dealer pull the code as the number was not with the material in the glove box.

It might be located were rex450se and igneous stated, however I never looked myself.

The one in my 07 was located behind the Smart Junction Box (SJB or fuse box) in the passenger side kick. You have to unbolt it and remove it to see the label behind. Bold 5 digit number

Thanks for info bricekin. Didn't get the part about unbolting fuse box to look at back....I only pulled cover off and looked in it.
I did call a stealership and the guy said he couldn't by VIN, and that it was part of the 'security system' and they had to hook it up to diagnostic to pull code. Prolly typical dealer BS.

99.9% typical BS. Some guys can see the code with a bright flashlight. I had to unbolt mine. If I remember right, it was only one nut and took less than 3 minutes.

Hi miker1999,

I just wanted to touch base with you and make sure this was resolved. If you still need your keyless entry codes, you can always go to your dealership (with a photo ID and your vehicle's documentation) and they will be able to assist. Keep in mind that there may be a charge associated with this service.

Let me know if you still have questions.

Just found mine this weekend - on my recently aquired 07 it was on the back of the fuse box in the lower passenger kick panel. I pulled the bolts out to make sure I had all the numbers - there were 2 different sets of 5 digit#s I wrote them both down and sure enough one worked.

Found mine a couple weeks ago. I had two bolts and it's just 5 numbers together. doesn't look like it would be much of anything but thats what it is. I went ahead and added my own code so I wouldn't have to remember that one.
