I have a 2012 Expedition and recently had a "Service Advancetac" warning light appear. Since the service advancetrac light came on my blinker no longer makes the clicking noise inside the vehicle, however the blinker lights do function correctly. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I would normally take the vehicle to ford, however it is out of warranty and I'd prefer to try and fix it myself if possible.

I suggest you to drive your expedition at speed more than 30 km/hr for some time, If "Service Advancetac" warning light still there, you need to go to ford dealer.

I think there is some wrong in wheel speed sensors

You should be able to get a code reader and pull the error. However, there are only a couple causes of that "Service Advanctrac" warning. One is a faulty wheel speed sensor - not very expensive to change (but don't ask me how - it is buried in the wheel hub somewhere). The other is the ABS actuator - very expensive to change!

Hi aufordboy,

I know you mentioned you didn't want to go into the dealership, but keep in mind that they're always happy to take a look and get your vehicle diagnosed. If you want to proceed with the repair on your own, I recommend checking out Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com for the right supplies to get the job done.

Keep us posted!

I have a question...can I buy new spring seats for my 04 expedition? I recently did the air to spring conversion with drop springs and the drop springs are to fit in factory spring seats...
