2014 Sync Bluetooth Streaming issues

When I get in the truck Sync automatically connects to my iphone, running latest update, and will allow texts and calls to work fine, but the Bluetooth streaming option doesnt let me select it and Sync is stuck on "LINE IN" in the "MEDIA" portion.
Im only able to get streaming bluetooth music if I disconnect the bluetooth and reconnect, then the music automatically start playing with no issues.

Anyone know why and or how to fix this so I dont have to disconnect and reconnect every time?

I'm not sure what version of Sync you have but in my 17 with Sync 3 I have to connect my iPhone with the charging cord to run any of my apps. The only thing that works via Bluetooth is the phone, text messages, and Siri.
