Does anyone know when the 2015 Expedition will start Job2 production?

Job2 refers to the second run of a vehicle's production series in any given model year. Any modifications or additions to the model are incorporated and offered at this point. I believe that this would take place after the December shutdown. Since this vehicle is produced at the KY plant where Super Duty pickups are assembled, and this is how they are run in the normal sequence of events. I assumed that this truck follows the same path, since this is a Ford production policy. If I'm mistaken, I will stand corrected.

Hey guys,

ajvolpe is right. Job2 is when changes are made in the middle of a model year. For instance, convertibles are not available for order until the job2 build is available for the 2015 Mustang.

For the Expedition in particular, I don’t see a differentiation between “job1” and “job2,” and the current build is showing active through around May of 2015. At that time, we’ll be transitioning to the 2016 model year.
