When I purchased our 2016 Limited new, I swapped HIDs in to the projector housing with 513 miles on the truck. I purchased the Morimoto Elite 5500k HID kit from The Retrofit Source (TRS) and it worked flawless for years. Being a lighting junkie, I continued to follow the innovations in LED lighting and recently purchased Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 LED Bulbs from TRS and converted. What sold me was the 2Stroke 3 being fully sealed and recirculating the heat from the LED inside the housing to aid in deicing the headlight lens. (One of the biggest drawbacks to many LED setups)
Installation was a breeze and the output looks equally as good as the HIDs. Wanted to take some time to write it here in case others were considering!
