I have a 2017 XLT with 202a and Sync 3. We also have a 2018 Expy that was built in early 2018.
When playing music from a USB drive (which is what I do most of the time when I want to listen to music) the '18 has a "slider" control with a "handle" that lets you drag to fast-forward or rewind in the middle of the song. You can also touch anywhere along the slider and jump to that point in the track.
This is really convenient but my '17 doesn't have this feature. I just started reading some of the threads where people are updating Sync on Gen3 trucks even to versions that are newer than 2017.
I'm wondering if anyone has done an update that included the newer 2018+ style controls? If so, what is the minimum version of Sync 3 that's needed? Thanks!
