I have been dealing with this for 2 days now. I’m trying to change the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. I’m trying to remove the turbo. The coolant line is stuck on the block side. I was able to get the other coolant line off by twisting off the connector with needle nose vice grips. I can’t get the block side line out. I tried soaking it with PB blaster, hitting it with a hammer, twisting out the connect with needle nose grips, but the needle nose vice grips won’t work. I bought a crow foot wrench to try and stick in there to loose the connector, but it won’t fit. Anyone have any ideas? I think there was a coolant line leak above the turbo that leaked for a while and corroded the connector beyond belief. I attached the connector I was able to get out to show how badly corroded it was. Anything helps.

Update, I was able to get it out. I torched the connector for a little bit and wiggled the turbo back and forth for no less than 40 minutes. It finally came out the crud in the line and inside the jiffy fitting was unbelievable. I also sprayed it with PB Blaster about 10 times. Good luck everyone.
