But that's for +>1000 lbs cases, not +/- 100 lbs stuff
Over weight is Over weight...doesn't matter if it is 1000lbs or 5. From a legal standpoint that is!

The article above is not a great example of the case/question brought up earlier. The courts will decide % of liability in "overweight" cases like this. For the F350 driver's case, he was grossly (almost double) the weight capacity of his truck's limits. They can prove gross negligence as he was not within any reasonable limits.
For the Expy question, common sense has to prevail because we know physics always wins.
