On a recent late night run to a Pharmacy, I drove 90 mph for about 30 minutes and then a 5 minute run at 110-113 mph as it bumped against the speed/rev limiter a couple times. As I pulled up to my gate, I got a check owners manual message and observed the transmission temp pegged at 280. I was watching the temps while driving and while hotter than normal, not this high. After about 10 minutes of idling, the temp was back to normal.

I have a transmission flush scheduled for later today at the dealer. Has anybody had this issue?

About 6 months after I took delivery of the vehicle (and a couple of service visits) I started having some issues with weird shifting in the transmission. The third dealer I used for routine maintenance found that the fluid level in the transmission was very low and they noted that it probably had been delivered from the factory that way. We made notes in my account in the event we had issues down the road.
