Mine are out, haven't got them replaced yet. Both had oil leaking onto the ground. Need to call dealer and see if they're in yet!

Just had my two rears replaced at $750 ea plus labor. 2K job! Oh and you will need an alignment after that too!

If it's a non-warranty replacement, wouldn't you use an aftermarket quality shock (Bilstein?), if you are using your own cash?

Replaced all 4 on wife’s 2018 Limited with Bilstein 5100. $680 for the shocks and $900 to have local shop put them on. I can’t believe Ford put such junk shocks in them. Stealership claimed they were “not aware” of the problem and they are a wear item anyway.

I had all four of mine replaced along with a front-wheel bearing at less than 10k miles on 2018 Expedition Max Limited. Fortunately covered by warranty but it means that I may have to replace again in the future. Will go with the Bilsteins when I have to pay for my own.

Had drivers front and rear replaced over the summer. Just found front passenger strut leaking this weekend when changing the oil, so it'll be going in shortly for that one, too.

Never seen this on any vehicle I have owned before, especially since it's both front AND rear. It's not like it's even the same part number to complain about.

If you don't have CCD your struts will not last long. The CCD is only on 302a, 303A and platinum

I had one front and one rear replaced yesterday, 2018 with 10,000 miles. Both were leaking oil and covered under warranty so I purchased an extended warranty while I was there as I can see the other two may not last long either. I noted a sticker on both that said to keep away from heat as they are gas filled. Are these different from original, oil filled?
