I'm looking to order a 2020 Navigator. The dealer says it will take 2-3 months to come in.

I had heard previously 6-8 weeks. Can anyone confirm the current lead time?

Thanks in advance.

It's usually 6-8 weeks once production has started. However, a lot depends on your dealer's allotment availability (verify this with them) and the priority assigned which will determine your place in line. Then, hopefully no production delays occur due to supply shortages.

A wild card could be the UAW - they have not reached an approved labor contract with Ford yet.

The Chicago Explorer / Aviator plant is having labor troubles, including massive manufacturing and production issues.

I would hesitate to order a new car from Ford, GM or FCA for quite some time - due to the labor / contract problems and the potential dissatisfaction of the union workers.

Thanks everyone. I ordered my 2018 Expy in August 2017 and picked it up on December 17th. I learned there are a number of variables that can impact delivery timing. E.g. dealer allocations, next generation vehicle launch issues, etc.
I’m a first time Lincoln buyer working with a new sales person and wanted to see what others were hearing.
Thanks much.
