Was at the dealer ordering my 2022 Limited Expy yesterday afternoon when the manager showed me a letter he got in the morning stating 2022 Ford Expeditions will begin arriving at the dealerships in February.

Did that bulletin actually say the car would get built quicker? One more thing I learned. Ford does not have any chips for auto stop/start nor will they have them anytime soon. There is now an option to remove this. If you remove auto start/stop you will get your Expy much sooner. I read this in a dealer bulletin so it is factual!
Best I can tell, removing Start-Stop on ‘22 Expy to speed up delivery is not the case, for multiple reasons (based on posts in Blueovalforums):One more thing I learned. Thanks! It seems like “Retail Orders Excluded“ refers to the requirement ( instead of the availability of the option), so it does seems to be an option. That seems to contradict last week’s bulletin. Hmm.Here is the option in the order guide

I'm pretty sure people were able to order these since either October or November of 2021. Go to a different dealership. They will try and sell you a 2021 if they have them. Can you tell me where you ordered from? Here in Florida, the dealer said it wasn’t available in their system yet. I am willing to order anywhere. Thanks.
