2022 XLT DRL questions

Hi All,
I have a 2022 XLT I just purchased and have a question about DRLs.
I cannot upload a video, but in the image the DRLs use the outermost headlamps and flicker .
I have the car started, am in gear, and the lamps switch on AUTO.
I DO have the settings in my vehicle and all are set to be on. And its not the headlights, because you would also see the amber lights on, i'd imagine.
In all the Ford Literature for the 2022 they show the "C" portion of the lights illuminated. And Ive even found a video that shows the DRLs in the C areas. and he claims its new to 2022. Should I see the DRL light up the C areas? and why do they flicker?

You probably have the 202A "High" package which doesn't include the "Signature lighting and bright bezel"
Your low beam head lamps are acting as your DRL similar to how they work in F150s that don't have the LED strip lighting, and why you don't see the amber marker lights.

Here's a PDF order guide. You can see that the signature lighting is only part of add on packages for XLT, not included with the 202A.

Flicker, if you are referring to flicker in videos, is due to refresh rates of the LED vs refresh rate of the camera filming them. It's not clear in your post about what is flickering since you ask about DRL referring to the outer C shaped LED strip you are asking about that you don't have. So assuming that's what your asking about.

Are you able to add DRL to ford expedition XLT that doesn’t have the special edition package?
