Hey guys. Finally got my XLT in! I love it. One odd thing is my driver side mirror is at least an inch smaller. Not sure if that’s normal or has to do with the fact I have the heavy duty tow package. Anyone have any thoughts? Or notice that on their expo?

What do you mean by an inch smaller? mine look to be the same size. I mean I did not grab a measuring tape, but they look symmetrical when looking at it from the front.

One measures 8.5 inches and the other 9.5 inches across the mirror from trim to trim. And one has objects may appear closer while the other does not. It’s a very obvious difference from The driver seat. Externally looking I wouldn’t have noticed.

Sounds like you got one regular mirror and one tow mirror...

That’s what my husband thought. I did get the heavy duty tow package. I’ll have to go to dealer and see what they say. Seems odd they’d only give one tow mirror.

The passenger side mirror is slightly larger than the drivers side mirror (2019 XLT).

I can confirm that on my 22 Limited Max w/ HD Tow, the same is the case: passenger side mirror is about 1" larger than than the driver's side. I assume this is intentional.

Mine as well, I believe this has to do more with the refractory side of being farther away from the passenger side than the drivers side mirrors and is not a mistake from the factory.

With your HD tow did you get the 360 cameras?

Yes, as I also have the 50T "special edition" package.
Smaller touch screen, and a dedicated camera button underneath it on the dash above the dual climate controls.

Thanks. My dealer told me 360 came with HD tow. I’m not super upset as it’s just extra. But I hate when dealers don’t know the real answers. And I built back in Jan before the Ford website was live with 22 expedition builds. But upon research today I found that you needed the special edition package to get the 360 cameras. How much extra was that package?

Window sticker shows the Special Edition package as $2,495.00

With that you got the following:

Yes, I think so. The camera views includes a 360 "bird's eye" view, as well as dedicated front and rear.

What you don't get (at least in the 302A trim with HD tow) is the active park assist system. I don't really miss that, but some folks might. I find the cameras work well for tight parking situations.
