2024 Dash Cam Question

Hi, I know there are a bunch of Dash Cam threads....so I'll try to keep this quick.

I have a new 2024 Expedition Platinum. I installed a Viofo A229, with front and rear cameras.

Any suggestions on what exact fuse location will allow the unit to use parking mode, when the ignition's off? The way it's hard-wired now, it has one constant, and one accessory...but the unit shuts down when the ignition's off, and no parking mode is available.

A pro did it, but I think he did it wrong.

Yep. Brought it back to the install shop, and the tech realized he had switched the 'accessory' and 'battery' wires. He reversed them, and now the dash cam works perfectly.

I had one hooked up in my F-150 with it setup in a parking mode, with the sensors active and it drained the battery after about 3 weeks.

So which fuse was used? I’m thinking about getting the a229 pro 2ch since it’s on sale at bezo’s website
