Is anyone planning on installing a dash cam on their new '25 Expy? If so, what brand/model?

It would've been nice if ford implemented what nissan did and integrated a dash cam into the camera system.

Btw, the 2025 nissan armada is pretty nice. Got to drive one, my wife really liked it.

Got my order put in for a 2025 max platinum with stealth performance on Friday. Had a $2,500 PCO/ECO plus dealer discount, will end up at $80k , MSRP was $86,465. Maybe i will get lucky and ford will have a small rebate or something at pick-up which will add on. Will update when i get the VIN email.

PCO/ECO is private cash offer, or exclusive cash offer as of lately. Google that and you will see lots of results, its a direct email or direct mailer from ford, tied to your name/address. Its a bit of dark magic on how they decide who gets them, but i have a ford.com account since we have ford's already, i signed up for all the marketing emails/etc for the new expedition. I had gotten one back in 2022 when i ordered my F150, and got 2 since then i think that expired. Got this one on 1/3/25.

Fair amount of dealers will do a "retail order" at invoice price. Granger ford (google them) will do 4% below invoice, that would have been almost another ~$3k off or so, but i would have had to fly there and drive it 7 hours back, plus granger doesnt guarantee PCO's until a VIN gets generated, as they have gotten burned before, plus my local dealer has done right by me for other warranty work on our past fords.

My dealer went around $500 under invoice, plus the PCO, which ended up at the $6,465 off MSRP without any "normal" ford rebates/incentives, which if i get lucky will be there when we pick up, but if not im fine as is.

I like the 22’s on the ranch after having the 22’s on my 2019 Platinum. But kinda dig the Tremor. The 2025 Platinum looks crazy plain jane even compared to my 2019. Ford is definitely playing games with packaging and pricing. In 2019 the limiteds flew off the lots sticker price was more attractive to the non negotiator buyers. Platinums with 85k stickers sat unsold. I got my loaded Platinum for 76k . Curious to see if these specialty trims actually get buyers at 80+ on the sticker.

Ford-speak for "we sent it off site to a. go over it with a fine-toothed comb and b. fix the stuff that didn't get assembled properly on the assembly line". Not uncommon with early production units after a model changeover.

The limited choice of color is disappointing, the render on build and price is probably not the most accurate - stone blue looks like 49th shade of grey.

Every year of 4th gen had stronger blues and reds that are MIA on the 25s.

I know I'm in the minority that don't like the shades of monochrome... might have to wait for the 26
I agree with the lack of colors for 2025 models, but Stone Blue is NOT anything like grey. It's a blue/green color that is one of the best colors I have ever had on a car.

There was scheduling last week, but no scheduling this week. Per this video unscheduled retail order queue sits at 1,307, one of those is me.

I’m scheduled. My question is whether or not the plant is shipping vehicles to dealers. I have read comments from some saying their vehicle was produced 4 weeks ago but hasn’t yet shipped. Trying to determine if this info is true. Haven’t yet heard of anyone who has actually received a vehicle and production started 1/6/25.

Since it's a new model with all new body and interior parts, my assumption is that they are diverting assembled vehicles to a holding area so they can be checked over by the engineers before shipping to dealers. It's also possible that the assembly line didn't have all the parts they needed, so these new vehicles are being held until parts arrive and can be installed. Let's hope that it doesn't turn into the 2020 Explorer situation where truck loads of newly-assembled vehicles were shipped from Chicago Assembly to holding lots in the Detroit area where they sat for weeks.

Just talked to Ford marketing and got my "week of 2/24/25" pared down to a specific planned build date of 2/25/25! Hope that holds! Marketing person said she has seen new Expeditions being shipped from plant but couldn't say for sure if shipments were to dealers or to "hold" lots when asked. Hope to hear that some are getting their vehicles soon !

Expeditions must be shipping! Window stickers suddenly available on vehicles on Ford’s site. A couple build dates were in the 2/10 date range per sticker! Hopefully a sign of good news coming!
