So disappointing to be seeing and reading about a 2026 order guide when our 2025 order (from April 19th) keeps being pushed. Platinum Ultimate. Ouch.

Pretty soon the steering wheel is gonna be optional too and the window regulator is subscription based. :doh2:

Any info on what version of BlueCruise is getting shipped with the 2026 model year?
I was hoping to see the 1.5, oh well. I went ahead and ordered a 26 anyway. I’ll just hope it ships with the 1.5.

I’m sad to see the Wild Green color go, but after owning the first MY of the 4th gen I really didn’t want to go that route again. Marsh Gray it is. Plus I’ll be the device holders…probably.

What did you order?

I still don't get why they ditched the wireless charging pad. Those things work pretty well as long as you plug a little USB fan in nearby to keep the phone cool.

Wow glad we went with a Yukon XL AT4 w the 3.0 Duramax. The ride and fit and finish is night and day better than our 23 Limited Max. Only way I would buy an expedition is with CCD and now they’ve made it hard to get. Also hell no on the 24” wheels, the ride is already awful on 22s.

Well, the regular 25’ platinum with the drivers package was a rather good deal for the equipment they provided for 80K. Comparable equipment on a Yukon Denali was another 8K more. Quite a gap, and Ford obviously closed it.

IMO, there is no chance I would spend 95K on an Expedition, and IMO, I would most likely not order a 26’ with the same price and IMO, very necessary equipment removed. 7k more and we’re driving an Escalade or Navigator. 80K was an attractive MSRP for the 25’ equipment provided, and quite a surprising price difference when I was looking to order a new SUV for my wife. Subtract X plan and a $2,500 PCO, and it makes for a very nice buy. Just an excellent vehicle. Rides great, love the steps and 22” wheels.

That's not the way I read it.

Included in the Standard Package (600A):
View attachment 85666

Then, the Driver's Package (59J) says this:
View attachment 85668

I don't see where it says that power running boards are deleted with the Driver's Package. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

It says on page 2 (Overview of changes):

"Black Onyx Painted – Power Deployable Running Boards no longer available with Driver’s Package (59J) and are replaced with Running Boards, Platform – Black"

As well as page 21 (Platinum spec):

"Black Onyx Painted – Power Deployable Running Boards Note: Requires Stealth Performance Package (19B) or Platinum Ulitmate Package (17A)"

But I admit that seems to conflict with page 22 that you quote as well as page 23. Reading these latter two seems to suggest there they just split it out of the Drivers package into a separate 96A, which odd enough are however mandatory to take together. That would also work with the literal language on page 2 and that would also make more sense. Hence I suspect it is still available without breaking the bank further.

Overall though I'm disappointed. It seems the 2026 model is basically the 2025 with reshuffle of some packages. E.g. still no PowerBoost.

Just got an update that my '26 Tremor build is scheduled for the week of 11/17, which is the first week of the 26's.

The Long McArthur guy also noted that the 24" wheels for the Platinum Ultimate WILL BE available for that build date...for those interested.

Apparently, the 24" wheel vibration issue has been isolated to tires. See the attached Special Service Message

How long did it take for you to get an order acknowledgement email after placing the order? It's been 3 weeks and I've seen nothing from ford but the dealer assures me the order was placed

I got the order acknowledgment email from Ford the same day he placed the order (9/4). And then I got my scheduling email on 9/25.

I got a confirmation order from Ford about an hour after I ordered it. I haven't heard anything since as far as scheduling, but if 2026 is anything like 2025, the Platinum Ultimate models seemed to take the longest to get scheduled/built.
