2026 Order Guide

How long did it take for you to get an order acknowledgement email after placing the order? It's been 3 weeks and I've seen nothing from ford but the dealer assures me the order was placed

If you did not receive an email from Ford with order ID number and brief description of vehicle the order was not placed correctly. I believe my email was received about 5 minutes after order was submitted. Built date and vin will come later when it is scheduled.

Also, sales guy should have given you print out of order. Did you get that?

Currently waiting for the 2026 model year to show up on Ford.com. Need confirmation on the look of the new 24" rim with the Performance Package. Lots of Youtube videos out there that claim to be 2026 model, but are in fact the 2025. I saw this clip in the Youtube video linked below. Not sure how legit it is, but its as close as I have seen to a potential legit picture.

The Long McArthur video said the configurator wouldn’t be up on the ford website until November.

(that video screams AI to me…they haven’t rolled any 26’s off the line yet, so no one is going to have one yet…it’s not like before a completely new model, there won’t be any pre-production mules rolling around)

New Expy....Well, my 2018 F-150 Platinum was totaled, and we decided to get another Expedition. So, we are going to go with the 2026 Platinum Max. Now, to find the right price and order that bad boy.

Sad to see that truck go....but the wife's Expy has been a good hauler for our family and at 5 years old....it would be nice to already have a replacement in hand should we lose that one.

It is so hard to trust anything nowadays with AI. Good to know about the November time frame too. My brother works at a Ford Dealer and has a little bit more order details, but the materials he has still say "image coming soon" for the new 24" sport performance package rims.

In my experience, the videos talking about new car models where you don't see people speaking the dialog that you are hearing are generally fake and not to be trusted. If you watch a few of them, you'll often see the same video with different dialog and a different voice speaking the dialog. Of course, odd phrasing or pronunciation are dead giveaways.

Are you able to find the one your looking for in a 25my?

I will be ordering a 2026...Max, SPP....just have to find the right dealer to meet me at the right price point.

Never got anything and they also they didn't collect a deposit. So I think the dealer just ordered the vehicle for themselves. Bit weird of an interaction, we do have a handshake agreement on price and they agreed to match granger as long as I finance.
Well dude just called me, build date next month

Very disappointing. No limited slip MAX available at any trim level. Looks like Ford has to go without my $80-100K for another MY. I'll just have to keep the 2020 running. It just seems like yet another Vehicle Engineering oversight. Hard to believe they know so little about their customers. These things are entirely useless off road with open rear ends. And still no air-ride when GM air ride take rate is over 50% on full size SUV's....someone isn't paying attention...

Fords Expi page now shows the 26…still no configurator.

Poked around the Ford website now that they have a landing page for the 2026s and stumbled across these for the new SSP wheels.

Wow, so help me understand. Platinum now no longer comes with CCD, LSD, or even power retractable running boards? You have to buy ultimate or SPP for CCD and retractable running boards? I'm incredibly under impressed, 7 years between my '19 and this '26, where all of this technology is literally old and should be a lot cheaper, now costs substantially more? Being a repeat buyer is getting further and further away from reality for me.

Platinum is essentially what the limited trim filled in terms of features. The price reflects this. The base platinum is priced somewhat comparably to where the limited started in the last gen. All the packages does is add the high end features to different price points. The drivers pkg adds the ccd and high end stereo, so essentially the every man's king ranch, for a really good price of about 79k (seeing as this is the trim i see the most on the road, im sure the consumer base agrees). When lioking at buying earlier this year, only the expy with driver pkg gives you self driving, a high end stereo and adjustable suspension for less than 80k. If you dont want to pay 90k, You dont have to get the ultimate, the only thing your missing is the massage seats and ho engine.

What’s a reasonable walk away price for a well equipped Expd? Comparable to the stuff I had on my limited exp…

Go now before the 26s hit the lot. You should be able to get 6-10k off depending on location and trim right now. 26s didnt change much except how some wheels are bundled and no phone charger. Make sure you do your research as well to get all the features you want.
