Im sure this question has been asked 1k times but I'm about to ask it again! I have an 01 xlt and want to do a 20 inch rim with a 33 ...would I have any rubbing issues if I put a 3" body lift?

gkelly, how wide of a rim are you looking to run? What is the offset/backspacing? Adding a spacer? How wide is the tire (11.5, 12,5, ?)? All of these things play into whether you will have rubbing or not. not trying to sound like a wisebutt, but more information is needed to give a solid Yes/No answer.

Making an assumption that you are going with a standard 33x11.5" tire and going with an 8.5" wide rim with the standard 4.5" of backspacing, you should be fine with the 3" body lift. You would even possibly be able to get away with up to a 35x12.5 on that 8.5" rim with the body lift (may need to do the wheel well mod, but that is easy to do and cheap to accomplish, just have to be willing to take a 3 pound hammer to the body of the truck).

gkelly, you should be fine with that tire setup. The only caution that I would say is to make sure you get rims with about 4.5-5" of backspacing. You start getting less than 4.5 and I can almost garantee you will have rubbing issues and you may be good for up to about 5.5" of backspacing, but then, you are also looking at messing with the positioning of the bearing in relation to the center of the rim.
