2026 Ford Expedition Active with 202a package. Converted to covert law enforcement vehicle. After the upfitter got done adding lights, radios, etc. — the driver’s side front door speaker quit working. We assumed wiring harness / or some wire was damaged or came disconnected during the upfit. We’ve gone over everything with a fine tooth comb. Checked every wire we could find where the aftermarket equipment was added. I really don’t think it is a damaged wire at this point.
We disconnected all aftermarket equipment as well, no change.
The only thing we can’t rule it was when they were testing for ignition power if it caused some sort of voltage surge. But we have no way to determine that.
We are at a loss with that the problem could be. The source doesn’t matter — CarPlay, FM, AM, Bluetooth — nothing comes out of that driver’s side front door speaker. We’ve checked all wires, harnesses, fuses, etc.
Any Ford service techs in here? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
