After reading some posts on here and asking a few questions i decided to go with the 295-70-17 trail grapplers. Thanks for the help all!

One question though...
When I purchased the expedition it had the chrome fender flares on it and ive been considering painting them black but now that I put the new wheels and tires on I dont mind them as much...tell me what you think...

You can hear a little bit of humming but if you have your radio on at all, you dont notice it. I was surprised how quiet they are and my ride is smoother as well.

Do you get any rubbing with the new size tires? Also would these tires have fit on your stock rims? How do you like the size you picked to go up to and I am assuming you have no lift correct? Thanks.

His tires most likely do rub. 285-70-17 is the size you want with the 17 inch stockers, 285-75-16 with the 16's (what I have) in order to avoid rubbing on stock suspension.

Any word on rubbing issues on that stock suspension?

I've just started looking at that same size tire as I'm getting ready to be due for new tires and wanted something really aggressive like that.
