we always talk about 2nd Gen is 03-06.
My Expedition was built in 4 october 2002.

a friend of mine has a 99and I also had a 99 mine was built in late 98 and his was built in early 99 Ford normally would start a new model year at the end of the previous year and continue production for to about the middle of the current year and then get ready for the next model year
