Nice! Did an oil change myself this week it always feels good when it's fresh it's totally mental but feels like a new engine lol. With the triton I'm doing the Ford synthetic blend and filter when I change it and I'm doing every 4,000 miles (very often). To keep it all prestine and keep the sludge away from my camphasers/VCT solenoids.

I (once) had to get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and they couldn't get the wheels off to rotate the tires. "Got all 5 lug nuts off?" I asked after they were shaking the whole truck trying to unstick the wheels. "Count the lugs, there should be 6."

third time the rear tires are 1/32 less than the fronts ........:banana-mario::rolleyes:
thinking maybe the go pedal is causing tire wear.:dogpile:
It's funny how it does that.

I changed the oil, took an oil sample for a baseline reading, and switched to full synthetic when it hit 1000. I'll probably change it again and take another sample when we get back from Pennsylvania. I'm at 3400 right now and the trip will add about 1500 to the clock plus any driving I do between now and then will get me close 6000. :)

Changing mine Sunday. This will be the 2nd for me. Full synthetic of course. Heading from Dallas to Surfside Beach next Wednesday and pulling my toy hauler (8000#) there and back. Will be a breeze with the Eco. Which is more than I can say about that Triton

took little one to get tires rotated and third oil change...15432 miles

I had the guy tell me the same thing....that my fronts had a bit more than the rear...then he went on about how I should leave them like that since I want all my grip up front....actually the reasons he used were sound but I told him to rotate them anyway.

Launching that fricking rocket for 10 months and 17K miles(at the time) must have caused a hair more wear in the rears huh? LOL

He also gave me the speech about waiting till the oil-condition gets down to zero-15%...I told him I enjoyed the insurance of changing it a little sooner....but he was just trying to save me money and I did appreciate what he was trying to do but when an old guys walks in and says do this and that...just do it...we've already thought about it and we want it done and we don't mind paying for it. Maybe I was just in a crappy mood that day?

I'll second that, and don't try to change our minds because we have already decided and it just aggravates us and makes us cranky. :D

yes she gets the oil changing right at 5k to 6k miles.
i have lots of under 50 mile trips doing therapy and noticed tires needed moved around. i am pretty energized after arm twisting so i tend to race home
want a Laugh, mu folks have a 2015 caddy stx thing CUV. its ugly. anyway the rear tires are scrubbed as in the front of tires are pointing outboard slightly, i can see it from the rear and i ask dad if he noticed the odd wear.
so they have 36k or so miles and the tires are basically 2/32 of tread. michellins
guy at caddy told him the alignment needed adjusting, DUH. but the fronts have to be toed in a bit to help cornering and expect only 38 to 45 k miles form the tires.....talk about odd.
