This evening I went to put down the 3rd row seats and noticed the driver's side is making a loud 'pop' when it's 90% of the way down. When I reverse the process, it goes back up fine.

It sounds like something plastic is binding near the motor and releasing on the way down. After watching it for a few cycles, I still can't pinpoint the origin.

The only thing that changed was we used the center seat belt that's attached to the roof for a trip, but we put the buckle and belt back the way they were prior to the trip. The sound is the same.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Have you been leaving the seat belt latched instead of stored in the roof. Tech at the dealer told me I would brake something in the seat folding it with the seatbelt still in.

I put it back in the roof but it was folded down one time while still attached.

If something is broken in the seat I can't figure out what it is.

Didn't someone have some split loom that was zip tied too tight on the lower mechanism that they said was making noise? Can't remember the exact details.

That Split loom catches at times and wears on the rotating shaft....

I appreciate the suggestions.

Here are a couple pics with the seats up. Do you see anything out of place?
