Has anyone wrapped the C-pillar on their Expy Max with gloss black? I'm considering it but I want to see what it looks like first.

Definitely looks better on the white vehicle but I like it even on my darker expy. Just hope they last. Can partially see mine here. Not hard to do, I did try some of the 3M strip tape, which worked about 70% of the time. Just didn't like the idea of a blade on the paint.

So I recently did a chrome delete and pillar blackout in satin black. Went ahead and did all the Pilars so it would all match perfectly. Very pleased with how it turned out.

'm going to tackle wrapping the c-pillar this weekend. Any tips? Should I wax, or remove wax, prior to wrapping, etc?

I put on 3M 2080 G12 Gloss black. It isn't a 'smooth' gloss black, but has an orange peel look to it. Not highly noticeable unless you are looking for it. I used a clay bar with highly diluted dishwashing liquid as a lubricant to remove dirt specks and any wax.

Gloss black. Close inspection you can see it is not identical to the front door pillar but it's so close no one could tell unless you have done this modification yourself.

That looks awesome! If it is not too much trouble, would you mind posting another photo of the side view without the sun glare? I am trying to decide between the gloss and satin? Also what did you use for the grille?
