4wd help!

When I hit the switch nothing happens now. The indicator in the gauge cluster wont even illuminate though it does when I turn the key on. I need my 4wd. What's going on. Ive never had a problem outa the 4wd.

simple question Have you checked the fuses with a meter Not just your eyes

And if you checked which ones did you check??

Vehicle Does Not Shift Between 2WD/A4WD and 4WD HIGH Modes Properly (A4WD Lamp Does Not Flash When in the A4WD Position)

A4WD mode switch/circuit.
A4WD clutch relay/circuit.
Contact plate sensors A, B, C and/or D circuits.
Transfer case shift motor/circuit.
Transfer case shift relays.
Transfer case mechanism.
GEM.

For the most part I can. My manual dosnt have any wiring diagrams for the 4wd system or anything on the gem module at all. I checked all fuses and all are good.

that's why I suggested the manual I have

I also have a HAYNES manual that has about 6 inches of dust on it

Update your signature line with year model and engine information. This can be done in the USER CP section as this information helps others give you replies specific to your vehicle.

Also send me a PM with your e-mail addy and I can send you some prints It may take me a few hours to send them as I am away from my files
