Hi, for some reason my 97 4wd turned itself on, but switch is in off position. I jacked up front, vacuum lines are attached to actuator at front differential and at actuator on firewall, not that that is relevant information?
So with front off ground, I turn one wheel and other turns in opposite direction. Pretty sure that tells me it’s in 4wd.
Just turning around in parking lot and it happened?
Any ideas?

Thanks, I think it’s in the vacuum lines.
Does any one know where to get the rubber vacuum connectors, like the ones used on the selenoids on the firewall that connect to the air box behind battery. I think i can get vacuum lines at a parts store. Thanks

So i have a vacuum question. There is vacuum at the selonoids on the firewall, but its not much. What’s a good way to know if there is enough to move the diagram at the differential. Is there a simple way to know without a vacuum tester? It’s very light in my opinion.
