After driving about 150 miles and then letting the expy sit all night the 4x4 light came on and the truck wouldn't go back in 2wd. I took the truck to get my son a stereo and alarm and the guys there said the battery was almost dead. they charged it and the problem went away. it stays in 2wd and light is gone. Can a problem with the batt confuse the expy and make it go in 4wd?
Thanks.

once again another reason why i dont like the electronic shift transfer case. but hey i still use mine. but anyways. it seems like it could since it is electrical. something with the switch or computer got confused and when the battery was changed it could have reset it. thats all i can see what could have happened. i usually have a problem with mine going in and out of awd and 4x4. during the wrong times too. like during a hill climb. not a good idea to switch and lose power to either the front or back cause the computer wanted to switch it. there should be a transfer case i could put in thats stick shifted.
