I purchased new to me 2011 ssv with 126k miles.

I replaced sparkplugs, knock sensors ( one had failed wire ), upstream oxegen sensors, evap celenoid, intake manifold gaskets and water pump.

She drives like a champ now . Huge difference in performance, and fuel economy.

I am only concerned with this strange rattle at 900rpm. I can hear it in drive troughs and enclosed spaces ( between walls ) otherwise no idle rattle, or any drivabilty issues.

Should i be concerned?

I am trying to post videos but have issues doing so here.

Any suggestions, i checked that little shield on the exaust, it does not seem loose.

Thanks

Check the heat shield on the muffler side, the runs from the passenger side catalytic converter to the muffler.
It's a pretty big one, and will rattle loudly when it comes lose.

Since it's only at a certain RPM, you can rule out any major valvetrain/engine rattles.

Do we know if the 2011 have an updated Timing and Valve-train Components or they are all pretty much the same?
