97 expedition ac pump not working

there is no power going to the ac pump connector.checked all fuses and relays.all were good...what else would make the pump not work and could I run a constant power wire to the pump?

the a/c pressure swich could be bad or theres no refridgerant in the system

maybe u just need a new pump?
