Hello,
I've had a problem with my air for the past few years. Whenever I turn the fan to the floor vents it always defaults to defrost, I cannot get the floor vents to blow on any setting. Also, as I turn the temperature knob from cold to warm, air output decreases dramatically, and I hear a "deeper" sound of air blowing in the dash (if that makes sense).

About 6 years ago, before it was mine, the previous owner had the air control door (blend door?) replaced because it was blowing hot during the summer. He doesn't remember if the problem existed before then....
I have no problem with the a/c in the summer.

The only other major thing that's been done: I took apart the dash two years ago to replace dashboard lights, but all of these problems existed before then. Any idea of what problems I may have?
