Hello, I bought a 97 expedition a couple weeks ago and have been busy fixing a few minor quirks- such as a vacuum leak in the vent controls and other minor interior electrical issues.... However, I noticed that when starting it takes about 4 cranks every time to start it and the other day after a quick store trip (5 min) I tried to restart it and it took about 10-15 cranks to fire. It runs exellent- no misfires, no misses, no lifter noise, ect... I have not checked the fuel pressure yet- but I'm new to the ford world, so I thought I would ask some experts to see if there is anything I should check in to first!

try move the key to the on position and back , like 6 times , then try to start if start immediately check the fuel filter and the fuel pump, or try with throttle-body cleaner and if start immediately replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure. i replace the fuel filter first and then fuel pump .
