Remote start problem

I have a 2012 expy el limited. When I push my remote start the car doesn't start, however lights come on in the dash and I can hear the fuel pump turn on like it wants to start but it does not turn over and it will chirp once or twice I can not remember. I have not seemed to have any luck finding anything on this. I'll add that the remote did work until I purchased 1 key not oem, had them cut and used forscan to program it. I have one original, not 2. Ended up having to delete all keys and then was able to program both. The original and the other aftermarket one. Is this the issue why my remote start doesn't work? I use the aftermarket key and that works just like the original. I am just curious if this is 2 separate things or if one thing lead to another. Sorry I got long winded there but thanks for reading.

Remote start not working

I have a 14 limited and it has a separate fob for the remote start. Doors are locked and I press the button two times, lights flash, I hear the fuel pump click on then after a couple seconds the fob beeps and flashes green but no start. What am I doing wrong?

Help with remote start fob

Hi I need some assistance with my remote start. I tried doing the bypass programming to keep it running when you open the doors with remote start. I’m not sure what happened now remote start doesnt work. Neither of the two remote fobs. I’m getting 4 honks when you try to remote start it...

Thanks for the help but none seem to work. I should've edted my post. The single horn chirp I don't think has anything to do with it but my security light flashes rapidly. I'm chalking it up to a bad chip in the key, which i got 2 from Amazon (one worked and one did not) or something wonky in the pats system. I ordered a different key. Hopefully oem as it had a ford logo on it so I will see. Is there anything in forscan that might help?

I got remote start….2014 5.4…I never use. Used when I 1st got truck few times. I read some goes bad in engine,what ever is hooked up goes bad intime. I rember after reading opening hood on mine and listening…something switches on,I hear it. So anyway….i never use cause it can stop truck from starting even with key……idont need it that bad I’m old school boomer….lol
