98 Expediton EB tranny

Was driving down the road yesterday stopped at a stop light got on the gas and the tranny and whole truck shook. I got off the gas and it was fine for about 3 or 4 miles then got on it again to prevent from getting hit the it went down hill from there lost 3rd then 2nd then 1st then lost reverse!! my truck is now broken down!! I need help on finding out what is wrong with it!! PLEASE HELP!! I need to find out what it is ASAP i take it to my friends shop to take it apart tomorrow morning!!!

How many miles are on the truck?

2wd or 4wd?

Almost sounds like you may have lost the pump if you lost all gears that quickly.

Have you checked the trans fluid? Burnt?

Have you gotten under the truck to see if there are any visible large trany fluid leaks? ( May have lost a high pressure trany line )
