I have a '98 4.6l. I replaced all the plugs (except cylinder 4 because i couldent get the plug out). the wires look good boots too. still missfires. I replaced the coil packs 3 weeks ago, no change. I have cylinders 1,3 and 4 missfiring I have a low flow bank 2, sensor 1, i had at one time a mass air flow low flow code but cleaned it (months ago and it didnt go away) i know i have an EGR clog somewhere in the intake but it shouldnt make it this bad Im lost. Is it the o2 sensor? or a fuel injector? please Help!!

First, change plug #4! Once you get the angle, it's not that bad.
Second, replace the plug wires with new Motocraft wires. Motocraft, no sub.

Then I would clean the EGR ports really good. Have you changed the EGR?
Have you checked your PCV valve and the hose to the intake manifold. The hose cracks often leading to a lean running condition.

When did you last change your fuel and air filters?
