Hey, has anyone dealt with the stupid enclosure that will not let the crap factory blown out sub escape?
Went to the local junkyard to find a leather 3rd row for the wife and scored a Fosgate Punch series sub for 8 bucks. Went to install it at the house and the old sub spins freely in the enclosure but WILL NOT come out. Now granted, I don't deal with speakers much and subs even less, but I'd like the truck to thump a bit lol.
Any ideas folks?

I believe there is a bolt on the back of the enclosure that goies into the magnet on the back of the sub. My Navi was like that.

Yeah i just tried to yank my sub to see if i could put in a Arc Audio 8in sub i have laying around but it also just spun....bent a snap on pick trying to pry it out lol. So i just cut the wires i would rather not hear it all than hear the blown coil clap. Oh well my system goes in soon. Not like ill drive it everyday anyway.

ill be adding a 12in sub in a small sealed enclosure on only like 400w. My DD 4Runner is on 1100w now and will be going to 2200w so no need to get LOUD with this thing. LOL

Crescendo ...I've got 1100w on a ,now out of business, Imperium Audio Design Reign 12" sub in a smaller than it should be ported box tuned to 36hz. Haven't decided if in going to a stronger 12" in the right ported box or 3-4 8s ported.
