Ever since ive had my Expy the steering is to easy or touchy, everything is tight, its just sensative for example you better be gripping the wheel if you sneeze.

Is there an adjustment? do all do this? or is the steering box wore out?

Have you had it aligned? I noticed when I have changed my ball joints and tie rods, that the steering was really touchy cause the wheels were pushing in against each other until i had it aligned.

I guess its alrite lol but just seems a little to soft to me? I have a bad back and hips when i ride for a bit and have to scoot around in the seat sometimes and when im doin 70 and bump that steering wheel with the top of my leg , well it will make the hair stand up on your head lol.

It has been aligned when i lowered it and then when i swapped some ball joints, its always been this way.

I bought my 2000 Expy a few months ago and found out that they come with power assist which means the power steering is very sensitive and almost feels loose. I thought my pump was broke but that is the way it is supposed to work.

ive hit my steering wheel at 80 before and nothin happened. from what ive seen is that its super easy to steer at low speeds and tougher at higher speeds. i think thats so if the soccer mom leans back to smack the kids in the back the expy wont veer off the side of the road.

Do you have air suspension? If I turn off the air suspension, my steering takes on that granny-mobile feel, like it is way over assisted.
