Hey fellas-

AC comp failed on me. I have a new one coming, along with orifice tube, rear exp valve, receiver/dryer, and condenser.

What would be the best way to flush the system? Remove old orifice tube, rear exp valve, r/d, and condenser and just do it section by section? Then replace components and pull a vacuum to purge?

Thanks!

Depends on what failed on the compressor. If it was a severe internal failure that sent little aluminum shards down the line, you will never get all of it out. Over time they will release from the hose liner and trash the new components. A good clue is what is caught at the orifice tube.
