I replaced the a/c compressor a few months ago. I tried to charge the system yesterday, but found the compressor wasn't cycling on/off.
We found and replaced the blown fuse, jumped the pressure switch, and checked/double checked all the connections...
Any ideas?

The system has two pressure switches - high and low. The low should be near or on the drier. Jump that and check for 12v at the compressor clutch or just see if it operates.

Took teh truck to a real mechanic last week. He put in the dye, tightened the Shrader Valve, and fully charged the system.
All told, it took about an hour, nad cost about $80. Now the A/C is cold enough to freeze the snot in your nose!
