Sorry if this answer has already been posted but I couldn't find it.

So last year my A/C stopped working. I decided to try and recharge it myself and it still didn't work. This year I turn it on and apparently it's blowing cool air again. Although, I noticed my "max A/C" blows warm, my "panel(defroster)/floor" blows cool, and my "vent" blows warm. It also takes a bit to cool the whole vehicle down. Rear A/C blows cool too.

So typically I use the panel(defroster)/floor setting and wait 10 mins before I close the windows. I noticed that when I have my foot on the gas it blows through the panel and floor vents but when I take my foot off the gas or put it on the brake it, after about 5-10 seconds, blows throught the vents but cold. Then if I put my foot on the gas again it starts, after 5-10 seconds, to blows out of the panel(defroster)/floor again.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

sounds like a vacuum leak
when you stomp on it the motor stop producing vacuum and when you let off/brake the motor produces vacuum again and the a/c switches to a different area.

+1 on that. The whole system is run by vacuum, and a small leak can make it do screwy things.

one of the hard plastic vacuum lines has a hole in it,if your expy is very old these get rotten or u may be having critters chewing holes in them too.
