Since I purchased my 2019 three years ago, I thought I've been having a problem with refrigerant leaking. Within a month of purchase, I had the system looked at and recharged. The following summer it blew warm, and I had my Ford dealership look at it, they replaced a hose they felt might have been the source of the leak, a year later I returned last month with the same problem. They checked again for leakage and found none, but they did recharge the system and charged (no pun intended) my nothing for the service work. They did add some dye with the refrigerant and when I take it in this month for an oil change, they'll check again for leakage. I have a UV light and glasses but thus so far, I can't see any leakage of dye.
However, this last time I was on a two-hour drive, when the warm air started. Interestingly, when I upped the temperature dial to 78 it was actually cooler than at 68. Now I'm wondering if the is some kind of temperature controlling method by which warm air is bled into the system to provide the difference in temperature between the driver and passenger as well as the back system setting. And maybe that system is out of wack.
